Studio Space

We are currently taking expressions of interest for our studio space for local artists whilst refurbishments are underway.

Please REGISTER as an Artist in so that we can find out about your art, consider you for involvement in future projects / work and register your interest in studio space.

In the basement there will be shared studio space for 4 artists. On the ground floor at the rear there will be 1 wheelchair accessible studio space. In the main space there will be a flexible open studio that can be used by the studio manager, students and additional wheelchair users. This main space will be shared alongside projects and community bookings that may use some or all of the space at different times.

We will initially provide the following services for artists:
Electric
Heating
Wi-fi
Rubbish removal
Accessible toilet
Brew station
Discounted sessional use of the main space
An opportunity to display work in “the window”
Opportunities to work in our projects
Promotion of your work on Social Media
Small meeting space.

Artists will need to agree to our Artist Agreement which includes a commitment to being involved in a community workshop / project to engage our local community. To ensure our space is available to all in our community we provide concessions on our standard rates.

Our Monthly prices in our shared spaces (concessions available):
£90 standard studio
£50 half studio space
£45 desk space
£10 flexi-seat (e.g. writer using seat space as and when space available)
