A selection of original work by Andrew Edwards

The collection of work you see in the window is about “things I have experienced and gone through in my life and about my culture.”

Andrew Edwards started making his art at Ellen Wilkinson High School in Ardwick back in 1984. Inspired by his teacher Mr James,  he enjoyed art as it was exciting to him at the time. Fast forward 40 something years later and Andrew has started painting and creating prints again following the sad death of his parents.

Edwards uses materials ranging from pencil, charcoal and biro to acrylics, oils and household paints, often presenting the final pieces of work as enlarged bold digital prints.
