A collection of Paintings by Jolene Sheehan

I never expected to become an artist at 48, but here I am—creating every day and loving it. After years of teaching, running a social enterprise focused on wellbeing, and helping others tell their stories, I picked up a brush in late summer 2024 and something just clicked. Creativity found me again, and I’ve been following where it leads ever since.

For me, art isn’t about getting it perfect—it’s about showing up, experimenting, and letting each piece be what it is. Some days it flows, some days it doesn’t, but I’ve learned to trust the process. I hope my work encourages you to do the same—to follow your curiosity, embrace what lights you up, and know that it’s never too late to begin something new.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you’re here.
