As part of our Reclaimed Narratives Project we are running an open competition with Artist Roise Antiszko in the build up to Ayres Road Festival on June 21st 2025.
Draw, design, decorate and create your own folk art doll and or diorama using as much recycled materials that you can find. Draw on your own culture, heritage, folk tales and background to express your own story and style.
Feel free to download and use the Folk art doll templates created by Rosie Antiszko as a starting point. You may want to mount them on some cardboard or place them inside a decorated box with other items.
Bring your competed artworks to OT creative space by Saturday 7th June. All submissions will be displayed during Ayres Road Festival and the winner will be announced at 4pm.
