This exhibition explores the feelings of Separation.
People are separated by distance, pandemic, persecution, natural disaster and war; People are separated by different beliefs and values. Sometimes, people are separated simply because they grow up, move to other places. When they are out there in the big world, the exciting and unknown big world, it is sometimes filled with temptations and toxins. People drift away!
Therefore, we look for something special, beautiful and precious that connects us together.
There is always H O P E.
Chen Xi, is an artist from Beijing, China. She lived in Beijing, Rome and Cambridge, and now she is based in Manchester. Chen Xi is a published writer, book illustrator, and comic book artist.
