Bill Tolly – Recent work
Bill is influenced by the beautiful landscape of the Cheshire /Derbyshire Peak District. He responds to the rolling hills and vibrant colour scheme within such landmarks as Shining Tor, Macclesfield Forest , The Roaches and Hope Valley. He takes a mixed media approach using Sharpie marker, watercolour, acrylic paint, as well as incorporating elements of collage within some of the paintings. His most recent work focuses on the patterns found during his walks, using iPhone and sketchbook to document the experience of the dynamic countryside.
