A group exhibition at the Wheelie bin gallery
The works on display were first exhibited as part of the pop-up Blossom exhibition in Hullard Park on Saturday 18th April; a Bloomtown event presented by Love Old Trafford in partnership with the National Trust and the Bloomtown Trail. The event celebrated the arrival of spring and the beauty of blossom in all its forms.
“Blossom” holds different meanings for different people. The works gathered here respond to that idea in a variety of ways, spanning painting, photography, collage, sculpture, embroidery and poetry. Together, they offer a rich and varied set of interpretations; from personal moments of growth and transformation, to reflections on nature, fleeting beauty, and the courage to be bold and different.
