There are days that often go unnoticed.
Days of cramps, fatigue, discomfort, mood changes, and the quiet calculations that women make just to get through an ordinary day while menstruating. Much of this experience remains unseen not because it is insignificant, but because we have learned not to speak about it.
Unseen Days is an attempt to bring some of that experience into view. This work asks men to look a little closer, to understand that empathy can begin with something as simple as knowing what someone may be going through. It also asks us to think about the practical realities of menstruation: access to safe menstrual products, privacy, comfort, and the freedom to manage one’s period without shame or inconvenience.
These photographs are not about portraying menstruation as something fragile or limiting. They are about acknowledging what is often carried quietly, and imagining a world where women do not have to carry it alone.
