Expanded Embroidery Wreaths

All the wreaths on display have been created by participants of the Creative Connections group that meets on Tuesday mornings led by Embroiderer Chris Hogben from Hoop Doggy Dog. For the last 6 weeks the group have been using various different techniques to create wreaths including, embroidery, stitch, pom pom making, crochet, weaving, pyrography and collage. For many it was the first time using some of the techniques and it was brilliant to see everyone experimenting, trying new things, helping each other and creating beautiful artworks. Themes range from the nativity and Christmas celebrations to Home sweet Home and happy new year wishes.

We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New year!

The creative connections expanded embroidery group will return on Tuesday 16th January 10am -12 midday.
